After the visit, try to keep the bed a little away from the wall and keep bedding off the floor, so bugs have fewer ways to climb back up. Interceptor cups under the legs can help show whether any bugs are still moving around. The crew can fit these on the second visit and show you how to check them each week. Ensembles with a fabric-covered base need special attention, since the fabric underneath is often torn or loose and bugs gather in the gap. The crew will check the underside closely and may suggest an encasement for the base as well as the mattress.
