Please do not drag an affected mattress through the house or leave it on the kerb before it has been treated. That can spread bugs into other rooms, onto the street and into a neighbour's home. If a mattress is badly torn or very old, the crew may suggest replacing it once the room is clear, and they can tell you how to wrap it for disposal. Wash the mattress protector and all bedding on hot before the visit, then keep the clean bedding bagged until the crew has finished. Pillows that cannot be washed can be steamed during the visit.
